Karen Gordon

Karen is a Sligo native with decades of musical theatre experience under her belt with Coolera Dramatic Society, Sligo musical society and more. Along with landing leading roles she also won the award for Best Actress in the “Western Drama Festival” for her role as Mary in the Butterfly of Killybegs while on the festival circuit in 2013. Karen has a singing qualification with the prestigious Royal Irish Academy of Music. Offstage Karen began producing by creating a children’s musical theatre company The Star Factory in 2011 and founded the Pop-up Theatre group in 2016. Both groups have grown significantly and have become a home for performers over the past 12 years.
